Important Information for Authors

MAIN CONFERENCE AUTHORS: MAIN CONFERENCE AUTHORS MUST REGISTER BY 15 JANUARY 2024

To be published in the IEEE INFOCOM 2024 Conference Proceedings and to be eligible for publication in IEEE Xplore®, an author of an accepted paper is required to register for the conference at the full (member or non-member) rate and the paper must be presented by an author of that paper at the conference unless the TPC Chair grants permission for a substitute presenter arranged in advance of the event who is qualified both to present and answer questions.  Non-refundable registration fees must be paid prior to uploading the final IEEE formatted, publication-ready version of the paper.  For authors with multiple accepted papers, one full registration is valid for up to 3 main conference papers.  Accepted and presented papers will be submitted to IEEE Xplore®.

 

WORKSHOP AUTHORS: WORKSHOP AUTHORS MUST REGISTER BY 5 March 2024

To be published in the IEEE INFOCOM 2024 Conference Proceedings and to be eligible for publication in IEEE Xplore®, an author of an accepted paper is required to register for the IEEE WORKSHOPS at the appropriate rate listed below.  (Note the half day workshop only rate is NOT valid for author registrations.) The paper must be presented by an author of that paper at the workshop unless the IEEE INFOCOM Workshop Chairs grants permission for a substitute presenter arranged in advance of the event who is qualified both to present and answer questions.  Non-refundable registration fees must be paid prior to uploading the final IEEE formatted, publication-ready version of the paper.  For authors with multiple accepted papers, one workshop registration is valid for up to 3 workshop papers.  Accepted and presented papers will be submitted to IEEE Xplore®. 

For those authors who have accepted papers in the main conference AND the workshop program, they must register for "Author Main Conference Registration" then add the workshop program to their main conference registration. 

For those authors who have accepted paper(s) in the workshop program, but would also like to attend the main conference program, they must register for "Non-Author Main Conference Registration" then add the workshop program to their main conference registration. 

 

POSTER AND DEMO SESSION AUTHORS: POSTER/DEMO AUTHORS MUST REGISTER BY 1 March 2024

For the abstract of your poster or demo to be published in the IEEE INFOCOM 2023 Conference Proceedings and to be eligible for publication in IEEE Xplore, an author of an accepted abstract is required to register for the conference at the appropriate rate for your membership category. In addition, a poster or demo must be presented in-person by an author of the demo/poster.  Remote presentation or presentation by a non-author (substitute presenter) of a poster/demo is not permitted. Non-refundable registration fees must be paid prior to uploading the final IEEE formatted, publication-ready version of the demo/poster abstract. For authors with multiple accepted abstracts, one registration is valid for up to 3 abstracts. Accepted and presented abstracts will be submitted to IEEE Xplore. If you also have a paper in the main conference you must register at the full member/non-member rate.

 

POLICIES ON NO-SHOWS AND SUBSTITUTE PRESENTERS

Each paper must be presented during the conference date. During the conference, at least one author from each paper must be ready to answer any questions from the virtual audience,

A paper not presented or presented without prior written approval by the TPC Chairs will be removed from the final conference proceedings before uploading to IEEE Xplore®. No refund will be made to authors of these papers.
